Corfu Plaza - Best Family Holiday EVER!!

Advantages: Great all-round Family Holidays

If you want an amazing family fun-filled holiday then this is the place to go. Myself, my husband and two children went there in August of last year. The journey from the Airport was around an 1 1/2 hours, but it was scenic and not to much of a strain. On arrival, the booking in was quick and straightforward and they were very welcoming to us, giving us maps of the Corfu Plaza, welcome packs and other literature to explain the whole scenario to us. ...
...of a large seating area, a large bar, telephones and information points, and a great deal of brouchures on the resort itself and outings we could take whilst there. Everything Thomsons had stated in their brochure was spot on with a few hidden extras on arrival. On entering our one-bedroom apartment we were amazed at how spacious it was, the bedroom itself was extremely large housing two beds, large wardrobes, chest of draws, and side cabinets ...

I stayed in a Pink Palace

Advantages: Stunning views and excellent staff
Disadvantages: No aIr con and very hilly

...the holiday spent in the Adonis Asontis apartments. These apartments are in the heart of Kalami within absolutly incredible views overlooking the bay and the Ionian Sea. Excellent! Absolutely 5 stars!!

Advantages: Entertainment, Food, Private Beach, Bar, Staff are lovely!!
Disadvantages: Bees

This hotel is one of the best i have been to, my family and i have been several years in a row. We all enjoy the relaxation of the private beach, the beautiful sunset, the amazing great variety of food, the beautiful surroundings and watersports available. I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a relaxing holiday to get away from everything, however do expect to come home at least half a stone heavier after 1 week as the food is delicious ...
...fres towels in you room and for the pool daily, the entertainment is regular and fab for every1, the lunch is like a huge barbeque with salad and plenty of choice , the breakfast is everything you would ever want4breakfast...and the dinner is a new theme most nights with many items cooked fresh by a chef for you. Lovely location, Lovely hotel Odysseus, Paleokastritsa

Advantages: Location, location ,location.
Disadvantages: Mosquitoes, Hilly

...and I stayed in the Odysseus Hotel Paleokastritsa last May. We had a lovely time and the hotel was clean and comfortable. It is in the most beautiful position, overlooking one of the many bays in Paleokastritsa. The view from our balcony was so beautiful it took your breath away every morning. We were lucky, as although we didn't have a "sea view room" we had a room with a view of the sea and across the bay. I would definitely recommend you pay for ...
...a fantastic view you will probably get a much larger balcony. Ours was big enough for a table and two chairs. We stayed half board, and we thought the food was good. The breakfast was basic although the yoghurt was lovely. At night the salad selection was really very good and the main course was usually a local corfiot dish. Jason Hotel, Corfu

Advantages: quiet, private and safe
Disadvantages: The steep hill up to it

...update! we stayed at Hotel Jason on August 22nd to sept 2nd 2008, on first arrival! as it was raining in England, the heat when we got out of the plane was enough to knock you over at 5.30pm, after the short transfer from the Airport to Jason, on booking in, we got our room keys! 2 adults, 3 children age13,7, 7, they expected us to sleep in two differnt rooms, i complained and they did move us all together the next day!! a fully air con room, but ...
...take thing for granted, Hotel Jason did the job, but there is a big hill up to it!! very private, 95% clean, very freindly staff, not many English guests, a large amount of Eastern europeans, but ok!! wouldn't go back as we don't do things twice! to much to see in other places, would recomend!! but don't let your misses get drunk!! as i had to carry mine all the way up the bloody hill!! it nearly killed me!! lift to all floors worked a treat, pool ...
