...!! Les planchers sont en vieux bois et les bruits de pas dans la suite supérieure sont assourdissants. En face de la chambre, de l'autre côté du mur de la maison (+- 2 mètres), il y a l'arrêt de bus et le supermarket du village. Le bruit est tel qu'il est impossible de dormir après 8h00. ...Cook. We selected the Ionian Sea View Hotel which is located in Aspro Kavos, about 15 minutes walk from the town centre. The hotel itself was basic but very clean. The rooms came with bathroom (shower, bath, toilet, sink), beds, dressing table, small kitchen, fridge and balcony. The kitchen was hidden away in a cupboard like thing, it had 2 hobs and a sink. ...Room 220 :~ The Paleo Inn is only a small hotel with a total of 20 rooms. These are either double or twin bed. The rooms are accessed by a flight of steps at the side of the hotel. 17 steps take you to the 1st floor. Another flight of steps 18 in total take you to the 2nd floor. This charming small hotel in the NW of Corfu in Agios Stefanos or as Thomson calls the resort San Stefanos is ideal for all ages. I read reviews on other sites and I concur with them as one of the best on the island. It's not a busy resort and I would not recomend it to people that would like a action filled holiday but having said this there is plenty of bars for one to party into the night. I would suggest that if you need a quick dash to somewhere hot then you could do far worse than Marbella Hotel Corfu. Marbella proudly displays five stars at the end of the drive way, and whilst the rooms and facilities are good I would suggest five stars is a little generous. It is really the rooms which let the place down as they are similar in feel to a good Travel Lodge albeit with air conditioning. We opted for half board which seemed to work ...
...tastes - it's buffet style so a large serving area displays the dishes, and guests help themselves to whatever they want. There are lots to choose from, and I'm pleased to say that all of it is good.
