If you are staying in Tripoli, this is by far the very best hotel with regards to service, cleanliness and ammenities. Full sports room and athletic club. Indoor swimming pool. Price is high but not worse than most European hotels of this calibre.
On the down side the location is in one of the worst areas of this city. It is like a jewel (the hotel) sitting in the middle of a garbage dump (the surrounding area).
However, if you can afford it, this is the only hotel one should stay at. Any other hotel in this city, would be cheaper but not by much, however, none that I have stayed could compare. In fact most would be considered sub-standard. Food is top notch. The cuisine variety is from around the globe. Obviously, there is a mediteranean flare to it. Buffet style dishes give one an abundance of choices. The desert choices are quite exotic, and coffee choices abundant.

What a shame the hotel is in such a bad area. One that should be avoided altogether from the sounds of things. The observations you did make could be expanded on concentration on the rooms, actual price you paid, service, how clean was it etc. If you feel you would like to add more details to the review at any time in the future you can do this by pressing the edit link at the top centre of the page as you read your review.
