Cork Hotels

Advantages: Great location, car parking, leisure facilities
Disadvantages: A little too stuffy

Stayed in this hotel in the run up to Christmas for a weekend and was impressed overall. I am unable to give an indication of price per room per nite unfortunately as we were upgraded, happy days, to a very impressive hotel at no extra cost, but this is definitely priced at the top end of the market. ...The location of this hotel is great because you are just on the periphery of this area meaning you get an enjoyable rest if you want to get away from it all. Food in the hotel was of the highest standard. Meals are available by booking into the restaurant or by simply sitting in the bar, where you don't need to book in advance. ...and beautiful, the newly built Sheraton Fota Island Golf Resort & Spa is situated on Fota Island in County Cork. This scenic island is in Cork Harbour, just north of the larger island of Cobh.
