belle mare plage hotel

Advantages: variety of activities and nice food
Disadvantages: a bit isolated

We stayed in a villa @ Belle Mare Plage for our honeymoon. The accomodation was amazing and the facilities, bars, restaurants, everything was fab. The food is fantastic, the buffets are lovely, every food you could possibly imagine! There are free watersports inc waterskiing, pedalos, glass bottom boat ride and snorkelling - the snorkelling was excellent, loads of fish on the reefs. Ther is a gym with various classes including yoga and a spa which did a great massage. The only down side to the hotel is that it is isolated, there is a town nearby that you can walk/cycle to but it's quite a trek, other than that its a taxi ride anywhere so you are pretty much stuck in the hotel on a night, they do have entertainment, dancers or a live band. We are saving up to go back asap! Highly recommended, a brilliant holiday. ...

Phyto Plage Veil -- defend and protect

Advantages: Protects and nourishes your hair, leaving an au naturel scent
Disadvantages: More expensive than usual drugstore brands

Four words. I love this product! Although Phyto Plage Veil is listed in the beach range of Phyto products, I find it is fabulous for providing year round protection from damaging UV rays. I use mine every day and it not only protects, it nourishes too. A lightweight and non-greasy, veil of spray, it contains sweet almond, sunflower extract, white lotus extract and more. The scent is beautiful and is as fresh as a summer breeze. You can spritz it on your hair after you have styled but I also use it as a stand-alone styling product. It does not weigh the hair down at all and leaves it feeling silky and sleek. I find it is also useful for taming frizzy hair and although anyone could benefit from using it, I think it could be extremely beneficial for those with coloured, bleached or permed hair. Despite being more expensive ...

Traveling Via Vias

Advantages: Lovely beach....the south of France, dahling
Disadvantages: Not much to do without a car

If you want to bemuse a foreigner, send them to the bit of France from which I've just returned. Not satisfied with the usual 'one name per place' rule, you'll find references to the areas of Vias, Vias Plage and Vias sur Mer (on post cards, in brochures, on the internet) but, confusingly, only 2 different parts of town, the touristy end and the old French bit. ****** Travel We drove Manchester to Liverpool, flew Liverpool to Nimes, taxied to Nimes town centre, caught a train to Agde and then taxied to Vias Plage. Travelling days were long - in excess of 8 hours - but if you live in other parts of the UK, or are happy to pay a little more for your flights you can reduce the trip quite significantly by flying to Montpellier and then grabbing a cab from there. We chose the fun long way round instead, and paid £100 each ...
