ok so youve seen the title it was a fib im no porn star but hey its an atention getter! there were 6 of us all good friends and we booked up for a weekend at the looe bay holiday park we travelled down from various parts of the country in 2 cars singing along to groovy songs such as teenage dirtbag. Upon arrival we checked in to our lodge a six birth mobile home type creation admitedly it had everything that you could want for a family holiday but probably not the best choice for 6 twentysomthings in search of fun and depravity. The site had a takeaway i would not recomend that you ever go there the chips were hard and undercooked the fish was just inedible sorry but its true. The entertainment was good the cabaret was not as "fantastic" as we would have hoped and the late night disco finished at midnight in retrospect this is quite late as it was cornwall not corfu!! The arcade was fun along with the crazy golf and the adventure playground but i dont think the children liked having to compete with us for the slide! We all had a good time the park is in the lovely setting close to looe and polperro both beutiful must see places to where i one day hope to return and not forgetting the nearby monkey sanctuary.

Makes me want to go there right now! Cornawall is the place to be for the youth of today, if you don't want to flee the country for your fun and frolics. Well now I know where to go.

I think your low opinion of the rubbishy nightlife is possibly a little bit tight. If you'd been anywhere but Looe I think you might have had a better time. Try Newquay next time you visit.

Advantages: Buses are more frequent than they used to be and new routes have been introduced. Disadvantages: They often break down and aren't waterproof in the rain!
