Jamie's (Scandalously Expensive) Dinners

Advantages: Amazing location, helpful and attentive waiting staff
Disadvantages: Food isn't as good as it should be. The prices are outrageous.

First things first, I hate Jamie Oliver. Always have, probably always will (unless he signs me over a hefty chunk of his fortune in which case I'll unashamedly backtrack and start saying 'pukka' a lot). I don't like his style, I think a lot of his recipes ...

Review of Fifteen Cornwall, Newquay

≈≈ Surf's Up ≈≈

Advantages: Interesting menu. Nicely presented food. Lovely light and airy location. Stunning views.
Disadvantages: Hard to park nearby during the day and summer season.

Review of Pizza Hut, St Austell

A Food Hero

Advantages: Great food, casual, family-friendly
Disadvantages: Not suitable for quiet meals, tables must be returned after 2 hours

His recent philandering aside, I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for Rick Stein. He seems to be much more of a cook than a chef and doesn’t seem determined to take over the world through the medium of advertising and being irritating (Jamie Oliver) or ...
