What it really is about Corporation Street is that it lies in the shadows of New Street and the Bullring. Those two places are the places to go when it comes to shopping, they will have the shops and the variety of products. Corporation Street is more for the shops that didnt really make it but wanted to be in the town centre. It is worth going there though overall, just to check if you could find what you're looking for. In addition, Corporation Street has a repetition of shops that are already on New Street and the Bullring, just smaller! So unless you dont find what you need from there, then go to Corporation Street, as it just mite have what your'e looking for.

Where you go out at night really depends on what type of night out you want. If you’re full of adrenaline and you need a release - i.e. you need to party till you pass out, then you’ll be wanting to go to one of Birmingham’s many clubs and bars - loud music, cheap drinks and a good time. If, however, you want a quite night out with a good pint in your hand and your friends at your side for good conversation, then I suggest you give The Square Peg on CorporationStreet a go.
The Square Peg is a Wetherspoons pub, and this guarantees you quality from the start. The pubs is quite big, with plenty of seating and plush furnishing and decoration. You really feel like you’re in a place that is well looked after, and it has a certain touch of class to it. It’s a homely atmosphere that exudes from every surface, and it’s all too easy to settle ...

I live in Birmingham and we have 2 Pizza Express restaurants in the middle of town. One is in Brindley Place and is surrounded by other bars and restaurants, is flanked by the International Convention Centre and is 100 yards from the canal (which is pretty because all the trees that line the canal are decorated with little white lights). The second restaurant is on CorporationStreet opposite the Law Courts. This is a quieter side of town but architecturally more historically interesting. Both restaurants are in prime locations and I believe this to be a plus point for Pizza Express.
The décor is unlike any other Pizza chain that I have eaten in. There is no red or yellow plastic, there are real plants and the scheme tends to be glass, chrome and black & white marble. Both of the restaurants in Birmingham have semi-open kitchens ...
