I've recently returned from a seven week working holiday In Corsica and I have to say I was amazed that I had never before heard of this beautiful island. It is overflowing with white sandy stretches alongside clear green blue sea. The white cliffs of Bonifacio are the perfect frame for the open sea and when you look down and see the people who have managed to reach the all but deserted beac below you know you have to go down there. I am a bit unsure about writing this as the reason Corsica is so special is its unspoilt advantage. And TV presenters have never seen the irony in reccomending an 'unspoilt' haven to three million viewers. So go there . . . but don't tell anyone. Shhhhhh . . .
