I booked this hotel through Octopustravel and with the intention that it would be easy to get to and from the airport and it would be easy to get to the town from the hotel without much hassle. Both turned out to be very true.
We got off the aeroplane at Palma and hopped on the number 1 bus outside the airport -right to the "port" of Palma- the marina. The bus announcement system announces the bus stops as it goes and the fare is minimal- less than 4 euros for two people to where we hopped off. Be sure to smile at the driver and say gracias!

As I said, I booked through Octopustravel- a double room for my partner and myself.
We presented the voucher at reception and they had a bit of a crisis-asking if we were absolutely sure we wanted a double room. We did. That was what I had booked. So, we got a room that was at the back of the hotel , on the third floor but at ground level at the back of the hotel, and near the bottle recycling bins ( we heard them emptying them every morning) ....next to the lifts on the third floor...where people come to go to the pool and the terrace. In high season this would be very noisy, as there was obviously "entertainment" in the form of an organ and probably singers, but in April this was not the case and it was very quiet.

The entrance doors are automatic, and there are lifts from ground level and reception and the lifts are accessible for wheelchair users. You can also leave your luggage by arrangelet behind reception if you need to checkout before you need to leave the hotel.

The room was very nice, actually. You put your room key into a slot and the lights come on. Luckily the receptionist told us about this. The room . It was big, airy and the bathroom was a good size, clean and provided everything we needed re towels, shower gel etc . The only thing we didn't have was a balcony and we did have the chance to go on the terrace just outside our door. Yes, there was the usual "saving the sunbed wih a towel" fiasco but this just made us laugh! We did not intend to spend our few days in the hotel anyway. Room cleanliness was good- the cleaners are obviously on the ball..so make sure you leave them a tip when you check out.

It was easy to walk along the promenade in the sunshine and there were several bars and cafes close to the hotel that we could have stopped in ..we chose an italian restaurant with a non-smoking section (excellent idea, as a lot of Spanish people and tourists do want to smoke) , a good menu and excellent wine..with very good service and it was not too busy. Again in the high season it might have been very busy but we were lucky. Most places have seats outside but as this is along the main road along the promendade it can be noisy.

The hotel has a bar/cafe in house. The menu is quite good, and the coffee is excellent. However we sat outside on our first day (Friday) and wondered if we were going to be served. You do have to be a bit patient.

Breakfast was very good - from 7am to 10am..cereals, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, continental breakfast and some hot food (sausages and eggs etc) and a lot of coffee and orange juice ..as much as you want to eat. The staff are attentive and will direct you to a table when you arrive.

The bus stop for getting back to the airport was just across the road. It takes 20 minutes and costs next to nothing.

People also got taxis but I understand that these are much more expensive than the bus. If you are a panicker, then you are probably better off doing this. Reception will help you out.

There is a cycle way along the marina so if you like cycling you can probably hire a bike and get cycling! Just don't run people over!

Discos /clubs are here as well, but not obtrusive and do operate until late in the morning if this is what you want.

There was an awesome view form the terrace- yachts and yachts and green sea, blue sky, the cathedral and sunshine. It makes me take a deep breath as I type this. It was a fantastic hotel in a brilliant position and I would certainly come here again.
