A short summary My wife Nikki and I went on a trip to Albir right north of Benidorm in Spain in the period August 27th to September 5th 2004. We went together with our friends Olav and Allis and their two kids. During our stay we got a chance to drive around a little bit, visit the theme park Terra Mittica, the water park Aqualandia, drink some good Spanish red wine etc. I hope that this short trip report can be of some use to others that are going to the same destination. Get in touch if you have any questions or comments :-) Please check my homepage http://gardkarlsen.com if you want to see ... more

Welcome to the world of affordable Package breaks in the Costa Blanca. Welcome to my world. Come on in, but wipe your feet please. And no pets. No smoking at the back either. Viva Espana. Who has ever said that, and not go on to buy a Sombrero and Wicker Donkey? The Costa Blanca. The White Coast. Not Dover. Not White. A bit rocky brown really, but It’s lovely and next year I will be presiding there. I might even be living there too. Just outside the Newtown of Benidorm, the most famous and popular coastal area in the region of Not Dover, there is a really quite splendid water-park that goes by ... more

My parents decided to up and leave to live in the Costa Blanca when i was 18, that was nearly 7 years ago now. At the time I was not ready to leave all of my friends and girlfriend, but 7 years on i would love to do the same thing with my fiancee! My parents have lived in Javea and Moraira, which are 2 areas within the Costa Blanca, around half an hour North of Benidorm. I will try and cover as much of the sights, sounds and smells of the area in this review, and try to recommend different places where i have had much enjoyment. I'll start with Javea. This is a town which is split into 3 parts ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages can be far too hot

Moraira on the Costa Blanca and is just under 2.5 hours flight away from Gatwick, the weather in June is as you would expect fantastic with temperatures up into the 90’s daily and with nearly 12 hours of sun shine what more could you ask. Moraira is situated north of Alicante away from all the hustle and bustle of Benidorm. Moraira lies in a bay on the south eastern coast of Spain, between the larger resorts of Javea and Calpe, 80km around 1 hours drive from Alicante airport. And 110km 1 hour 15 minuets from Valencia, with excellent motorways and costal roads from both directions. The Costa ... more
