Barcelona is only 48 miles away and easily accessible from the nearby train service, which runs approx every 20 minutes. Tossa itself is full of many small shop, bars, café's and restaurants, there is also a land train service, which runs about every 20 minutes, for a couple of Euros' it will take you all around resort, or jump of at its many stops, there is a large weekly market, for all your bargains and holiday trinkets. Lounging Around Tossa Beach

Advantages: All inclusive, relatively inexpensive
Disadvantages: Doesn't really give a good tatse of local cuisine

Having booked a week's holiday to go to America with some friends at the end of July, we ended up giving up due to the cost of the flights. So having booked the week off it seemed a shame to waste it and so Jenny booked the same week and we started looking for a late deal on lastminute.com. It was an all inclusive holiday to Tossa De Mar on the Costa Brava for £528 for both of us for 3 nights. The hotel, which was meant to be allocation on arrival turned out to be the Tossa Beach Hotel. This price included the flights, transfers and all inclusive accommodation, which during peak season was a bit of a bargain. The transfer from the airport dropped us at a bus stop in the middle of town and the driver pointed us in the right direction, approx 200 meters down a side road towards the beach. Advantages: fantastic staff, lovely hotel
Disadvantages: ants in the bathroom

Cyprus was'nt my 1st choice for a hoiday this year, but Ruth my partners sister telephoned us in August 2004 to say she was getting married abroad in July 2005, and would we like to attend. Of course we said yes and so the task of booking in to the same hotel on the same board status began. Cols sister was traveling with Thomas Cook, so I called them ''no room'' they said '' Oh no'' I said. So on to my trusted PC, entered the name of the hotel in too a search engine and walla - a few moments later we was booked all inclusive in to the Anastasia Beach Hotel. After negotiating Larnaca airport, we located our taxis for the transfer and off we went through barren countryside along a stretch of road that was apparently a Motorway, two lanes and a speed restriction of 100km an hour.
