Advantages: Wherever you go in the country you should expect the same standard of accomodation and facilities. Disadvantages: The quality of these can vary wildly!

The answer is no, we're not. Frustrating.
As mentioned above, the good thing about this chain (or any chain you can think of for that matter, as that's supposed to be the point) is that wherever you go in the country, you should expect the same standard. So, effectively, if you like the Premier Travel Inn in Dover, you should like the one in Ayr.
If you go discover that the Premier Travel inn you stayed at used to be a Travel Inn, it is more likely to be better organised; the Premier Travel Inns kept all of the Travel Inn operational systems and completely scrapped anything...

Responding to a demand for lower price overnight accommodation, Whitbread Travel Inns are perhaps the best know chain, with over 250 motels now set up across the country. For £40.95 per night, you get a clean, modern double or family room, with your own bathroom and television. The hotels are normally situated adjacent to a family restaurant, so breakfast and evening meals are easily at hand - although not inclusive of the price.
