Sometimes I think that, when Madonna makes a film, the reviews are written before the critics have even seen it. There is such an expectation for her to be bad that reviewers feel quite safe being critical before the event, almost certain that they will be proved correct. So it was that her latest offering, 'SweptAway', directed by her highly praised husband, Guy Ritchie, entered America on a tide of critical vitriol. Hence no one went to see it, and it went straight to video in Britain.
But could it really be THAT BAD? The only way to find out was to rent it for myself?

Here, you have nudity, cheap eroticism and everything else…but hay you also have Madonna and her husband Guy as director of the piece. Someone said: "Watching Madonna is like watching the fat Elvis perform." Maybe Madonna wants to be a movie stars not a movie actress, so her money and reality gets away, interfering on some strange level. Whatever you may think of Madonna, as an actress, it's impossible not to admire her work and such an effort to act properly, with which she's pursued her aim of being a movie star. After all, career of a movie star or a pop icon is a hard work. Only ignorant people don’t know how to appreciate effort and hard work. Every couple of years, she wins a game, as a music super star and gives it one more college to try...But hay, is there anyone out there, who would be suspicious with Madonna’ ...

simply brilliant!
I would just sit & relax, close my eyes. It's even better with a nice bottle of wine without any intrusions.
Come Away With Me is not a CD you would put on if you need an adrenaline boost. It's one to put on if you need to relax after work or simply in a romantic circumstance because it sways.
After a year on the shelves the album has sold more than 6 million copies and won eight Grammy Awards.
