On our way to Salzburg, we stopped over in Linz for a night and managed to find a good deal online (no breakfast included). Because it was raining when we were there, we never tried taking the bus but instead, zipped around in cabs. Location is good enough that fares to the main plaza were still reasonable.

Didn't like: - Undermanned areas - reception was understaffed when we were checking out (Saturday). The frazzled receptionist had to deal with about 5 or more people, with more people turning up. - The internet (it stopped working that night and was not fixed ... more
