Garden. The mood is calming, adult and understated, public areas feature silk chenilles, ¤leopard¤ hide chairs, Phillipe Hurel chocolate leather sofas and a collection of framed Japanese artefacts. The hotel¤s deluxe facilities and prime location makes it the perfect base for the leisure traveller.
Garden and just a short walk from Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery, Whitehall, Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament. Facilities include two restaurants and three bars.
Advantages: Lots of places to shop, indoors or outdoors! (and nice Waffles!) Disadvantages: The usual disadvantages of London (pickpockets, traffic, crowded, etc.)
...I've been to CoventGarden a couple of times, once a few years ago and once a few days ago, and I am still yet to have explored all of it! Not only is there the huge marketplace but it is also surrounded by lots of other shops too.
The famous market area is covered with a roof and home to lots and lots of stalls selling cheap clothes, jewellery, accessories etc. - lots of very low prices, especially considering this is bang in the middle of London, one of the priciest cities in Britain. Although, sometimes the prices are cheap because the products are cheap... but look carefully and you may find stuff that's actually worth buying and comes at a bargain price.
When I was 13 or 14 I was on a school trip to London and we spent a few hours in CoventGarden, and we thought it was great, frittering away our pocket money on cheap hair...

Advantages: good value, location, setting, choice(of pizza) Disadvantages: only if u like pizza
...This Pizza restaurant is situated in coventgarden opposite the Roadhouse Irish pub in the heartland of theatre district. It is only a few minutes walk from both Coventgarden tube and the strand / Charring cross station.
The menu should best be described as a wide selection of pizzas based upon cities from around the world. These dishes can range from moderatly classical pizzas (pepperonni for the New Yorker) to slightly more exotic (Bombay featuring spicey chicken, mango chuckny and broccolli). There is also a selection (if slightly limited) range of salads, starters and pasta dishes.
The interior of the establishment is well designed, modern and inviting, especially the lower seating area. I would personally recommend this venue as a good first date menu as th, the staff are friendly, the mood is relaxed and the menu makes...

Advantages: Just about the best tourist spot in London Disadvantages: Can get very crowded at times
...INTRODUCTION
CoventGarden is just about my favourite place in London.
In the late 1980s I suffered from stress and depression. I found that going to CoventGarden every Saturday morning cheered me up no end.
My wife and I visited CoventGarden recently on Saturday 15th September.
GETTING THERE
CoventGarden tube station is located on the Piccadilly Line on the tube. The tube train is always crowded, as the previous stops are Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square.
The Piccadilly Line is the dark blue line on the tube map.
On reaching the station there are plenty of stairs to climb. You then have to wait for a lift to take you to street level. After negotiating the tube ticket machines simply turn right and you are in CoventGarden.
If you are daring you can park here but the parking meters cost £4 per hour...

I think this is possibly my most used cook book and I have many.
How often have you looked at these soups in the refrigerator section in the supermarket and thought they were too expensive - I know I did. Well now you can make them yourself! The... more
Basically, if you're considering staying here, you probably have a small budget. If this is the case, I can reccommend it as it is great value for money. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are basic yet clean, and the breakfast is more
