We booked this holiday as a Sun holiday costing £38 for a 5 night break but upgraded to Gold Standard, which ended up costing us roughly £148 for a 5 night break. It would have been cheaper to book direct with Haven at about £112. Quite hard to find as not sign posted from town centre which is only 10 minutes drive away from park. Scenery around park good. Very friendly local's. Check in process could have been better organised as it was in a bar which was hard to find and hot/noisy. There was a queue of people some checking in at 1.30pm and some 2.30pm and none of the reps were bothering to find out who was first, so everyone was just standing around. As we had upgraded to get an early check-in, I jumped the queue, it was 2.20pm, and nearly got lynched by some wondering why I didn't wait at the back. Caravan was very nice and clean. Came equipped with tv/dvd,microwave,power shower, central heating,2nd toilet, nice and roomy. Only grumble is they stuck us at the back of the park, when we requested to be near amenites due to husband's disability. Direct access to beach from park, gift shop, cafe, chinese takeaway, fun pool with slides, amusement's, bars etc.Pool is only open from 10-12, 12.30 - 2.30 and 3- 5 pm. Would have been nice to have a later session in evening.Pool is good fun, which 2 flumes and cascading pools with hot tub. Weather is Scotland not brilliant in May, rain for 2 days, sunny at times but very windy. Convenience store was open till 10pm but predictably expensive as with most holiday park shops. Fairy good range of goods available. Can't comment on the clubs and entertainment as we didn't visit them. Didn't have any problems with noise at night, only heard vague sounds of music ocassionally. The birds made more noise walking on the caravan and fighting. Staff helpful, will sort out any problems fairly quickly.

I'm going to Craig Tara tomorrow and I've heard some bad things about it on other sites...you've put my mind at rest a little! Thanksx
I like how your review stuck to the facts and found it just as easy to read and helpful as other more wordy reviews. xx

Advantages: Everything at the park is within walking distance. Disadvantages: Took a while to find through a housing estate not signposted until you're close to it.
