Worst holiday I have ever experienced, substandard filthy run down chalet, staff that don't give a toss when you complain nor do they rectify any issues like dirty linen, knackered filthy smelly crawling bed with springs that stick out, the chalet carpet was crawling and filthy (hadn't been cleaned) cobwebs on window frames, looked like someone had the runs and had left traces of it on the toilet sinks side, the shower stunk, open the door but hold your breath first kind of stink!

The chalets are so bad I wouldn't stick even refugees in them (they are supposed to be rated at silver grade), I found largish chunks of human skin (from feet by the looks of it) near the main chalet door after i moved some patio plastic chairs, by the looks of it another area the cleaners missed!

The kettle, cups, spoons the place provided were filthy (blended nicely with the general decor and atmosphere of the dump they called a chalet) For 3 days a used child's nappy sat baking in the sun outside one of the chalet windows till I had enough and disposed of it myself, strange how none of the numpties who cut the grass never also picked up litter that was around some of the chalets!

The mattress on the double bed looked like it was many years old, filthy, full of largish holes and a nice bit of broken spring sticking out, handy if you want to rip your leg open getting in and out of bed, on top of that we found nail clippings and food debris on the mattress when we pulled the sheets off to inspect the bed, the bed was also damp in places as if someone had urinated or spilt something on it!!!!

The holiday camp's staff were generally useless, most couldn't be bothered giving correct directions, their customer service desk was useless, they see you standing and leave you there and when they do come over and you complain the reply you always get is.. "we will deal with it as soon as possible", aye right a whole week of complaining yet the filth wasn't cleaned up nor the mattress replaced, all you get is the same scripted bullsh*t over and over again!

What they also don't tell you is that you have to pay for nearly all activities once your on site and most are £5 a shot, so your lucky to get a few minutes on the petrol go carts for a fiver, archery is an hour long for a fiver but your lucky if your allowed to shoot more than 10 arrows by a professionally trained instructor who couldn't hit the bullseye no matter how hard she tried at 20 foot! The boating pond too is a con, you pay for that too and are lucky to get 5 min but if you happen to be blond haired with big tits and in your late teens early 20's the guy that mans it lets you on as long as ye like (I watched and timed as well as filmed this happen many times!) this seems to happen quite a lot!

The only thing they provide for nothing really (you already pay in your holiday for it) is a substandard swimming pool, nothing fancy nor special about it apart from the injuries to folk i and my family witnessed, cut feet etc going for first aid and the blood soaked sawdust on the floor of the first aid room!

The food quality and service was dismal, reminds me of school dinners ( apart from the mild food poisoning i got from undercooked Cornish pasties they served up for dinner one night, 3 sodding days I suffered because of it! )

I witnessed staff handling the stainless steel food trays (which they served folk from) with filthy dishcloths (to avoid burning their hands) problem was those same dishcloths sometimes dangled into or touched the food, even the cutlery was dirty at times. The service in their restaurant was unbelievably poor and unhygienic, it's a miracle myself and a few others i had chatted to were only affected by what we believe was food poisoning.

I could go on with more but I think most folk will get the general picture of the state of the place.

My recommendation, avoid Bourne Leisure Ltd (Haven) Holidays like the plague, they are only interested in your dosh!
