Crete is a lovely island with breath-taking scenery and, during the summer months the weather is fantastic. A great choice of holiday for singles and the young and lively, with plenty of clubs and pubs, there is something for everyone. There is a wide range of shopping also, with shops staying open sometimes until as late as 11pm. Plenty of restaurants offering something for everyone...chinese, mexican, greek (obviously) and many more, and it all tastes great. I would reccomend hiring a moped or quad or even a car for the less adventurous as this is the only way to really see all that this resort has to offer...you can visit the traditional villages which are up the mountains and the view from the top is second to none. I wouldnt really reccommend this resort to couples or those looking for a relaxing holiday... you may be overwhelmed by the thousands of singles (mainly girls) looking for a mad holiday. Groups of guys would love it!!!!

Sorry but as below.....I've been to Crete and there is a lot more to be said for it than is written here, for instance are you rating the island or the resort of Hersonnios? If you edit your review let me know I'll have another look.

Advantages: everything being so close together, most likely to get alot of sun from may till end of sep, plus it is rNb heaven Disadvantages: getting pestered to death to go into bars by the reps who stand outside, which need telling no more then once,
