A lovely, friendly hotel located in small historical market town of Bawtry
I love this little down, just down the road from my parents in Doncaster (home to the famous St Leger).

A friendly welcome, good food, nice rooms everythig you would expect from a good quality hotel. The Crowns website nailed it on the head when they said " Step into the Crown and you will immediately discover a chic, idyllic retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life". It really is a pleasurable experience staying here.
What to Do
I was there for a wedding, so I didn't do much other than drinks lots of champagne, eat lots of food and generally have a fun time catching up with other friends who I'd not seen for sometime but there is is lots to do in and around Bawtry if you want to make the Crown your base....The hotel is an ideal base from which to explore excellent shops. The Dales are not too far away, then there's the Doncaster Dome (one of Britain's largest sports and leisure complex under one roof!) and its ideal if you are visiting Doncaster Racecourse (Home of the Grand St Leger) and don't want to be based in the busier town of Doncaster itself.

Like the bar the restaurant can get quite busy on a Friday and Saturday night. The food is delicious (english with a slight french twist) I highly reccommend the steak - cooked to perfection and locally sourced. So often you go places and you can tell the food is low quality - that is not the case here. Prices range but for a 3 course dinner with wine you probably wont pay any more than £35. The sevice is also second to none.
