My opinion
First impressions
The first thing that you will notice about the hotel is how beautiful the hotel is whether it be from the outside or the inside it’s really beautiful.
The rooms
The rooms are wonderful; I was staying in a family room and was very impressed (I managed to get a family deal even know they were only 2 of us, I got this by booking at a hours notice). Our room had two double beds, a comfortable chair and a table. On inspection you will notice how spacious and airy the rooms are. The rooms have just a nice feel to them you can feel the build quality in the rooms the beds are comfortable the desk is made from oak tree they look and feel great.
One thing that I usually find with hotel room bathrooms is that they are small and in fact too small I feel like I don’t have enough space to stand in them and that it cannot be comfortable. However the bathrooms in the Crowne Plaza are perfect they just look beautiful and posh. I had enough space to stand around; I had space to put my clothes and enough room to shave without banging into the mirror I guess you can get my point.
Bed and breakfast
As part of the deal that I got was evening meal and breakfast included with the rooms (We had to pay for drinks) but it was a very good deal. We went down for dinner and were greeted by a very helpful member of staff who took us to a table. The service was very good and quick and the food tasted out of this world. The only thing I would say about ordering from the menu is that their was not that much selection their was something on the menu that would suit just about everyone’s taste’s but not a huge selection.
Breakfast was out of the world it was a serve yourself style of breakfast and it had the biggest choice that you would want. The food tasted excellent. I think that the breakfast was as good as dinner. The selection is better at breakfast but dinner was very good to. We also met one of the cooks from the kitchen came out and spoke to us when we left the restaurant she seemed very friendly and happy to speak to us.
Price and Availability
I got a great deal of £150 per room that included both dinner and breakfast this was a very good deal and booked it within an hours notice. I think that at different times of the year and also it was a weekend and hotels are usually not as busy at weekends when they don’t have the businessmen staying in the hotel.
Overall
The Crowne Plaza is a lovely hotel situated perfectly by the waterfront in Liverpool I was surprised that the hotel is only a 4 star hotel but was very impressed. The rooms are gorgeous, the staff are helpful and I really enjoyed my stay. I will recommend the hotel to you.
