Crowne Plaza deserves another Crown

Advantages: 4 Star hotel, Situated in good location, Friendly staff, Beautiful hotel, Good hotel facilities
Disadvantages: Expensive

a nice feel to them you can feel the build quality in the rooms the beds are comfortable the desk is made from oak tree they look and feel great. One thing that I usually find with hotel room bathrooms is that they are small and in fact too small I feel like I don?t have enough space to stand in them and that it cannot be comfortable. However the bathrooms in the Crowne Plaza are perfect they just look beautiful and posh. I had enough space to stand around; I had space to put my clothes and enough room to shave without banging into the mirror I guess you can get my point. Bed and breakfast As part of the deal that I got was evening meal and breakfast included with the rooms (We had to pay for drinks) but it was a very good deal. Amazingly Average

Advantages: Central location
Disadvantages: Very basic

In Veracruz a few weeks ago, I chose to stay in a cheap, central hotel the first night, and a less-central, resort style hotel the second. This was my first hotel and it met the criteria immediately since it was located overlooking the central square, and cost £26 including taxes, which seemed reasonable for a private, ensuite room. I found the hotel easily enough, having asked the taxi driver to drop me at the central plaza. The square is large and has the cathedral at one side, government buildings at the back, and a bandstand in the middle. The hotel was indeed on this square, but tucked away slightly in one corner, making it quieter for those lucky people whose windows faced this way. Cambridge Crowne Plaza; appeals to all punters!

Advantages: Location, atmosphere...It's luxury in a great city"
Disadvantages: Can be hard to locate

before ending up at the Moat House Hotel, who kindly gave Amanda directions to the Crowne Plaza. Embarrassing, yes! This is not the easiest hotel to find in Cambridge's eco-friendly travel system. We found it, though. Eventually. And we're very, very glad that we did! We arrived, finally, in Downing Street - and located the hotel - an easy task once you know where it is! We pulled up in the front drive and handed over our keys for valet parking. £7.50 was an absolute bargain, and valet parking is always a luxury, as long as you've managed to get everything you want out of the car. We didn't, quite, - but would certainly plan it better next time! We entered the hotel at street level. To our right was "Quinn's Bar" - Cambridge's only Irish bar, apparently. There was also a concierge desk, and an escalator that led to the first floor ...
