Dealing with the highly provocative subject of homosexuality and AIDS, Philadelphia does an excellent job of disbanding many of the myths surrounding both of the subjects. Not only does Philadelphia tell a powerful story of injustice, it is also a beautifully shot film, which has many scenes which will tug at your heart strings. It also allowed Tom Hanks to demonstrate that he was more than capable of performing serious roles as he had previously been better known for his comedy roles. There were some critics who suggested that Hanks was not convincing as a homosexual, what did they expect a bloke wearing lipstick, lycra and high heals. Don't waste your £ on the luxury rooms - Crowne Plaza Manchester

Advantages: Location. New and modern
Disadvantages: Awful club level package. Decor not to everyones taste.

Owing to the recession the hotel industry has been one of the hardest hit areas and as such, we have seen some of the most excellent deals come out as room rates drop back to prices charged in the 1990?s. Staying in the UK for the summer I decided to take advantage of some of these rates and looked into the special offers available from Crowne Plaza. As a treat for myself and the other half, I decided we would go to Manchester for the weekend. It is a city I haven?t really explored much before and thought it would be a good weekend trip. I had seen the newly opened Crowne Plaza on this years Apprentice and the hotel and rooms looked very modern and stylish and when I saw the promotional prices I thought why the hell not and off we went. Kraft Philadelphia Extra Light

Advantages: Just as good as the original and much healthier
Disadvantages: Expensive compared to competitors

all seems a bit strange now. It was named Philadelphia after the city which was considered at the time to be the home of top quality food. In 1903, the Phoenix Cheese Company of New York bought the business and with it the Philadelphia trademark. Production of the brand increased when Phoenix merged with the Kraft Cheese Company in 1928 and new, more consistent manufacturing processes followed.
