Advantages: Cheap, reasonably clean Disadvantages: Facilities not as available as advertised, expensive food, staff are cold
much. http://www.croydonparkhotel.com/
At least I think this site is fairly honest as on the site of the agency I booked with, it lied that there was a steam room, and let me tell you now, there is NOT. I'm not sure I should say who I booked with, but you can ask privately if you want to know.
Arrival/Check-in
For being in the most ideal location possible, I could almost be tempted to add on a star for this hotel. A very short walk from East Croydon rail station and near enough to plenty of shops and restaurants, it could not get any better. From East Croydon there are regular trains going straight into the centre of London, and you can also get direct trains to other places like Brighton. But just setting up a hotel in the right place does not immediately win me over. When you arrive you will notice a couple of beatifully designed ...
Advantages: Good location in London Disadvantages: Expensive to say the least.
Express By Holiday inn earls court, London
I made a visit to Holiday inn, in earls court during the middle of July and found this a nice place to stay.
The Hotel had a small sign displayed at the front of the Hotel window advertising rooms from ninety nine Pounds per room per night. Regarding the Hotel's location the nearest tube station is West brompton station which takes around ten minutes to walk from the station to the Hotel, or Fulham broadway is around fifteen minutes away.
The Hotel's immediate location is also close to South Kensington. Therefore Hotel visitors are treated to a great array of shopping malls in Fulham and high streets that surround the area. Directly opposite the Express by Holiday inn is a Thai Restaurant and a Beds Furniture Store. On the corner of the main road is a Polish Coffee shop and many ...

Just over a week ago I was visiting London. As usual, I tend to look for hotel deals a little out of the centre of town as it usually works out much cheaper even when you've factored in the public transport costs (I don't drive.) I am a member of the Hilton Honors scheme - it is free to join and well worth it if you use hotels often as they do have regular special offers and you can earn Hilton points and frequent flyer miles at the same time. See website: http://hhonors.hilton.com - so I thought I would take a look to see what deals there might be.
I was pleasantly surprised to get an offer on the Croydon Hilton for £43.50 a night (Fri/Sat) including breakfast and dinner the first night. This worked out more than £20 cheaper than my usual choice of the Holiday Inn Express in Croydon. The Hilton Honors website is simple to ...
