P&O ferries cancels tickets without notice

Advantages: Nice ship, nice cabin, very good meals on board.
Disadvantages: Cancellation of tickets without notice.

Be aware when booking P&O ferries! The company might just cancel your tickets and expects you to buy new ones. Recently, I booked a return passage for two people from Rotterdam to Hull. We missed outbound journey due to traffic jams and were advised by P&O ferries to take an alternative route from Calais to Dover using the same tickets without additional charges. minicruises from hull

Advantages: cheap break away
Disadvantages: cost of food and drinks

P&O are great (especially if you can get the 241 deals that they often do. their cruises suit every taste and budget (we stick to the cheapies tho, with cross-They do channel shopping cruises, city breaks to Holland and Belgium - and even a taste of Spain with 3-night mini cruises from Portsmouth to Bilbao. I've just been on a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Baltic the ship was the Jewel Of the Seas, and have to say it was brilliant. DFDS mini cruise on King of Scandinavia

Advantages: Lovely boat and great trip on a calm day!
Disadvantages: Staff on return at Newcastle seemed rather surly

...a mini cruise run by DFDS seaways and decided it was now or never. I'm not particularly good on a computer but I found the website very easy to negotiate and it only took a few minutes to book a commodore deluxe cabin for 3 people. At the time I didn't book any meals but a few days later (when I realised I could save 28% by booking ahead) I went back into my booking and again it was very easy to amend it and add reservations for the 7 Seas buffet ...
...was quite straight forward, apart from one of my meal reservations refusing to print out, a problem that was quickly rectified onboard and boarding began promptly at 3.30 pm.
