Advantages: Lovely beaches, lots of big expensive looking buildings, Disadvantages: Relatively expensive living, can get very crowded in summer

Since I don't go out clubbing or tanning, I was satisfied with just spending time there. For anyone who likes beaches, girls and going out to clubs and stuff, this is definately somewhere to visit. Crime is apparently higher here than in Montevideo, pickpockets and all that, but I think if you are a bit careful you'd be fine. The sea is REALLY nice, as is the view of all those tall buildings. Advantages: Fantastic Business Hotel Disadvantages: None

Moreover I was able to spend the evening socialising with colleagues over a game of snooker and a first class glass of wine with a friendly and well mannered group of hotel staff. All in all the conference was made perfect by the exceptional facilities...

In 1799 the Royal Crown of Spain ordered the construction of a lighthouse able to illuminate the waters of Rio della Plata and to guide the sailors that plough through this river. The first construction was a building to house the workers of the lighthouse that is now called "Casa del piloto de la Vigia...

I stayed at this hotel about 5 years ago and it had recently been refurbished. It is tucked away down a side road but that meant that it was quiet and peaceful. The rooms were large, clean and very nicely decorated with two double beds, good air... more
