Cuisin Art Resort and Spa, Anguilla

Advantages: Very small and quite quiet great carnival
Disadvantages: taxes are very hight there

...Anguilla is one of the leeward islands of the west indies. Its neighbouring islands are St. Martin/ St Mareeten, St Bartholemey and Saba. Anguilla is part of th BWI (British West Indies). The hotels at Anguilla are stunning and beautiful i stayed at the luxiorious Cap Juluca. I got great service there. Iam extremely lucky that i have relatives in Anguilla or i would of had to pay a fortune things are so expenssive but that is were St Martin makes up for this place is excellent for shopping and is easy to get to from Anguilla by ferry which costs $10. Things at st martin are tax free so most things are at low prices. St Martin is great for shopping for jewelerry and clothes. Advantages: A peaceful desert Oasis (Not the band silly!)
Disadvantages: Very, very, very, very expensive!

...Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa is located approximately 60 minutes drive from Dubai International Airport. Transfers can be organised with your tour operator, but will be in two stages. The first stage is a transfer from the airport down the highway and into the desert and onto the perimeter fence of the resort - this should take no more than 45-50 minutes. Once at the perimeter of the Al Maha estate, you will pass through security and await the arrival of the hotels jeeps, who will then transport you up to the main resort, which will usually take another 15 mins or so. Despite the transfer time, particualrly after a 7 1/2 hour flight from the UK, this was not uncomfortable or irritating like some transfers can be, so I hardly noticed the time. Advantages: Spa resort with wonderful views in an all inclusive hotel
Disadvantages: some rooms don't have fabulous harbour view

...not affect our holiday. The new tower block, once completed will have 150 bedrooms and be 5 Star, the older hotel is still 4 Star, and has 210 rooms. Sliema is a busy and quite an up-market place, lots of Hotels, cafes and shops, and a great place to be in with a ferry across to Valetta running every half hour. There are lots of buses to go all over the island which are cheap and fun to use, they look like something from the 1950’s! Alternatively just walk along the Strand enjoying the harbour or, climb the hill and walk along the sea front promenade, around to St Julians. ****** The Spa Resort The Beauty Centre has always been available at the Fortina when I have stayed, but the Spa Sante had only opened its doors the previous week.
