Which peg you fish from is down to luck as all 16 numbered swims are placed in a bag and you draw 'blind', however most swims produce good fish. Naturally, fishing there changes according to the weather and other factors. Just being there is a pleasure as the scenery is beautiful, so you can really relax and enjoy your fishing

Facilities are good too, with toilets and small wash area, a cafe serving breakfast, lunch and dinner plus sweets, crisps and drinks. You can also buy a limited range of tackle should you find you left something behind.
Staff at this superb fishery are very helpful and friendly.
Sadly there is no night fishing.
A beautiful setting and an excellent lake await you.

...read my mates opinion on Cuttle Mill already and I can only emphasise all that he has said. This location is a truely magnificent venue for the serious Carp fisherman. Children under 14 are not allowed to fish here and if you are between 14 and 18 you must be accompanied by an adult; this way it keeps the lake free of trouble and a pleasure for those who fish it.
There are some lovely specemins of carp here, leathers, common, mirror and a few grass ... ...minutes to tire and land. This fish along with all the others I have caught was in superb condition which is a true reflection on the lake management.
