Lovely hotel in a quiet location Advantages: Relaxing, well maintained, clean, very friendly atmosphere, decent food Disadvantages: Location could be too quiet for you, not really geared towards children Very friendly hotel, a place where you can really relax and get away from it all. The rooms are clean, well maintained and pleasant, very nice views if you book sea view. If you are travelling with a young family the family rooms sleep 4 but and although not really spacious they are comfortable enough for four people. Standard rooms sleep up to 3, the third bed, as in most hotels, is a pull up bed. Facility wise they have a decent selection from ... ...tennis court, sauna, crazy golf amongst others...all really well maintained. The service is friendly and attentive, more like a family run hotel, a personal touch, The food isnt bad either, there is a good selection at breakfast and during the summer you can enjoy your meals outdoors. It does get really humid at the height of the season in Paphos so you might prefer to sit indoors in the evening. Location wise its near the beach and well set back ... A stunning hotel and location! Advantages: stunning accomodation and service Disadvantages: expensive!!!! The Columbia Beach Resort to look at is made of stone and wood and looks very grand. There are bellboys who will take your luggage and welcome drinks when you arrive! The resort has a spa which includes a gym, sauna, jacuzzi and plunge pools as well as both indoor and outdoor pools and a pool for toddlers and young children. It also has access to the small pebbley/sandy beach. The pools are freshwater and not heated oor is heated from November. The ... ...lovely and were interconnecting for our children. We had a massive square bath and a big shower in EACH ROOM as well as a superking bed. The rooms were made up by housekeeping TWICE each day and everywhere and everything kept very clean. There is also wifi in your room. As for the food WELL where do i start! Its amazing! A Beautiful Traditional Greek Mill Advantages: Fantastic Situation, old world charm and good food Disadvantages: A Bit off the Beaten Track - will neeed a car ...while we were heading for the village of Troodos and decided that it was time to stop as the evening was closing in and we hadn't found any suitable accommodation. The road left would have taken us into Troodos but we took the right turning to Kyperounda and followed the hilly road down the mountain. If you take the left turn at the bridge you will enter the village of Kakopetria. This is where the Mill Hotel is situated and what an unusual sight ... ...sight when looking up to the top floor. The building has been renovated as originally the old Mill stopped working in the 1950's as milling became expensive and imported flour became available. This led to the mill closing down and eventually it fell into disrepair until it was bought by private owners. In 1979 work started on the derelict building to renovate it back to its beautiful Greek traditional style. The wonderful piece of architecture is ... On the beach, value for money hotel Advantages: Location, service, food Disadvantages: Few extra facilities If you are looking for a relaxed holiday with not too many frills then the Ledra Beach is for you. Its a friendly and inviting hotel with excellent food I have to say.....probably one of the best advantages of this hotel. The accommodation is a little tired but nontheless comfortable and clean. An animation team keep you entertained day and night with a few outside acts a couple of times a week. Aqua aerobics, childrens games, quizzes keep you ... ...holiday and we had no complaints whatsover with the choice, variety and quality of food, it has to be one of the best menus on the island in any hotel! For breakfast you can choose to have a British fry up, healthy cereals and yogurts, fresh fruits or a more continental style breakfast of fresh cheeses, hams etc. Juices, coffee, tea all included of course. Ledra beach is brilliant!! Advantages: brilliant staff and hotel facilities you can even use the 5* hotel next door. Disadvantages: none I absolutly loved my holiday to Ledra beach hotel in paphos, with it being just outside the busy centre nearer to Coral Bay there is so much at your finger tips. WHAT TO SEE: there is plenty to see indluding the Tomb of the Kings, There are 2 water parks both ranging from around 20 Euro's each but both incredably exciting. Coral Bay in itself is a perfect sight to see in Paphos. If you want a night out then all you have to do is take a bus to ... ...take you about 10minutes all in all. There is a long street with bars upon bars and everything you need for the perfect night out! There is also a lovely cocktail bar accross the road from the hotel where you could start your night off. If you fancy a change from the hotel food there is in Coral bay again just a bus ride away a range of different food places and they all look really nice.
