After a very unfortunate start to our city break to Amsterdam my friend and I arrived at this hotel. I want to tell you all the shortened version of what actually happened...
Our Tour Operator booked us into the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Den Haag instead of the hotel in Schiphol [where the airport is]. Not wanting to miss out on the sights of Amsterdam, and not wanting to travel 60km each way between the sights and the hotel we made our way to Amsterdam. Like Iggle Piggle, Upsey Daisy doesn't talk, instead she is ...
Advantages: This was a very good hotel in it's day Disadvantages: Burnt down in 1999

Folkestone is a seaside town on the South East coast of England. It is around 70 miles from London and around 16 miles from the city of Canterbury. The cross Channel port of Dover is approximately 7 miles along the coast. Folkestone was a very popular holiday destination from the time of Queen Victoria.
