We had to climb up about 600ft to the famous rock temple "Dambulu Viharaya". (Dambulla Cave Temple). It is a series of caves turned into shrines. The view from the rock is magnificient. The first cave holds a recumbent image of the Lord Buddha. There were very beautyfil paintings and attractive statues of Lord Buddha ... ...frescos. Climbing on the rock is not a difficult task. We could crack jokes with the funny apes who were living at the rock permanently. We gave snacks for them. They were doing humorous things. So no one feel tired.

We came to know that the human skeletons and some other things founded from this place are displayed at the "Sigiriya Museum". Do not forget to gain that experience at your next tour.
