Advantages: A great day out for the whole family Disadvantages: A little pricy
...Bore Dda! (Good Day in Welsh, something like that!)
Dan Yr Ogof Showcaves is situated on the Brecon Beacons national park, and I never ever thought Id say this, but, its awesome!
I first went when I was 11 / 12 years old, and forgot all about it until this summer vacation, this review is based on my recent visit:
Dan yr Ogof is a 10 mile (16 km) long cave system in south Wales, and is the main feature of a show cave complex which is claimed to be the largest in Europe.
The cave was first explored by two brothers in 1912, Tommy and Jeff Morgan, using candles and primitive equipment. Completely unsure of what they would discover, they armed themselves with a revolver.
The Morgan brothers\' initial expedition was halted at a large lake, which they later managed to cross by coracle. They eventually crossed three more lakes...

Advantages: great for all the family Disadvantages: not suitable for disabled or pushchairs
...Where to start with this one, difficult but think I will go with the full tour of my last visit with a few other bits from previous visits added in.
Where is Dan-yr-Ogof for starters, well I think you can guess by the name that it is somewhere in Wales or to be more exact it is located on the A4067 which runs between the M4 close to Swansea and the A40 near Brecon, so we are in South Wales and on my last visit we approached from Cardiff to Swansea via the M4 and onto the A4067 as we where staying in the area. Previously I have been staying near Carmarthen and have approached from the West along the A48, M4 and then the A4067. The Showcaves are within the Brecon Beacons National Park
Having first visited these caves at the age of 14 with my family whilst on holiday and having a really good day out every time I am now...

...Alitalia is the Dan Air of Italy.
With simply pathetic excuses for everything, I would avoid this airline like the plague!
My last flight with them was the most emotional, I had 3 flights to catch on the same day, all with Alitalia, my destination, Minsk, Belarus.
All 3 flights had the same "meal", a term used in the loosest of forms.
A sort of Cottage cheese and fungus roll, with a small glass of water, sounds delightful doesnt it, well this is all I ate for the day.
The staff leave a lot to be desired for, some air steward with the largest hair style in the world, and crumbs in his beared, insisted on making his prescence known to me as often as possible, and continuously kept stopping and rubbing his leg on my arm as he passed my seat, as if there wasnt enough room, and the flight stewardess who thought she was on a cat...
