Advantages: comfortable and clean Disadvantages: poor leisure club and not very child friendly
I stay in Marriott Hotels regularly and have been doing so for the past ten years or so. They are always my preference and the RegentsPark Marriott Hotel is always the Marriott that I prefer to stay in when I stay in a hotel in London. I have stayed in there quite a few times (not sure exactly how many) but up until this weekend I had never stayed in there with my family. I have stayed there for business, I have stayed there with friends when we wanted a big night out in London and now I've also stayed there with my family for a family weekend (including children) in London. Every time I had a wonderful stay in a lovely but unfortunately I don't think that it's the most family friendly place, especially when you compare it to other Marriotts (particularly the Swansea and Swindon Marriott's).

Advantages: Courteous staff, good location for accessing central London Disadvantages: Small room, touch-and-take minibar, prolonged check-in process
When my mother, sister, daughter, and I were planning our trip to England for March 2002, we included an overnight stay in London at the beginning of our holiday. We wanted something near the city center that would be handy to transportation and, thanks to my husband's willingness to contribute his Marriott points to our cause, we wanted a Marriott hotel. More specifically, we wanted a room suitable for four adult travelers. The nearest match to our requirements and the availability of a room through the Marriott Rewards program was a room at the Marriott RegentsPark.
In most respects, the Marriott RegentsPark is a typical representative of its kind. With 303 rooms in a 7-story building, the hotel includes an onsite restaurant and cocktail lounge, small gift shop, concierge and laundry services, barber and hair stylist ...
Advantages: Beautiful park, well maintained, numerous facilities. Disadvantages: Cafes slightly expensive, films etc very expensive
gorgeous display of roses you could imagine with hundreds if not thousands of fragrant roses (yes they actually do have a fragrance which seems to have been lost in the mass grown roses today). The Queen Marys Rose gardens are a must for a visit, in the centre there is a lake with a small island which you can get to by way of a quaint wooden bridge, the island is tiny and houses other little surprises such as a waterfall, a perfect place for photographs. Whilst I was there I was lucky enough to see 2 black swans with 2 new babies (ahhh). The park is a peaceful haven away from the bustle of London, infact its hard to remember that you're in the centre of London. RegentsPark is something we can be very proud of.
