Advantages: Good for kids, queues short Disadvantages: If you believe animals should have as much space as in the wild
...London Zoo is situated right on the side of Regent's Park. In fact you can see some of the animals from the northern end of Regent's Park. This is where the final scene of 'Withnail & I' was shot. In the pouring rain with the wolves in the background. I wouldn't recommend a visit when it's raining though. London, although classically portrayed as a rainy city is far nicer in the sunshine I think. Don't get me wrong, I like the rain. I think it gives London a sort of moody feel that is rare in other cities but I just prefer to experience it from the other side of a windowpane.
Anyway... In the sunshine Regent's park is wonderful and compared to some of London's other attractions, the queue for London Zoo is not usually that long. It has all the standard elements that a Zoo should boast; Reptile house etc. and, more recently, has tried...

Most cities in Europe do not have this diversity of origins - making London the city of Europe. The rapid growth in London`s population is due to large-scale immigration. London has overtaken Paris,Venice,Naples,Rome and Milan as it`s population grew. Apart from the people that have settled in London there are still 25 million visitors a year from all over the world.
Wide ranges of ethnic communities have developed over the years in London`s boroughs. A number of ethnic traditions have been absorbed into London life. It has the biggest Caribbean carnival in Europe, it has London`s Chinatown, and the central Mosque in Regent`sPark is a sacred place for the Muslim religion. London would be a duller place to eat without the range of good restaurants serving Chinese and Indian dishes. Thanks...

Advantages: Lovely Park. Beautifully Maintained. Good Facilities Disadvantages: Does get busy
...London has a marvellous selection of parks ranging from the likes of the hugely popular and internationally famous Hyde Park, nearby Kensington Gardens, serene Green Park, St James's Park, the oldest in London, liitle parks in various parts of Central London, Richmond park,Syon Park, and the lovely RegentsPark. This wide expanse of parkland and gardens is quite remarkable for such a major urban area. It is ever so easy to forget that you are in the middle of a bustling city when you are at a place like RegentsPark, which was once part of King HenryVIII's hunting forest in the 16 th century.
RegentsPark is centrally located in a very attractive part of Central London and is close to a variety of other world class attractions such as London Zoo, Madame Tussauds, the Planetarium, and the Sherlock Holmes Museum. The nearest underground station...
