The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the centre of Dartmouth with lots of shops, pubs and restaurants. It is a nice walk along the riverside. However, I was staying on a dinner bed and breakfast basis and was pleased that I had decided to eat at the hotel both nights.

Although there was a vegetarian breakfast on the menu, it was basically the full English without the bacon or sausages, there weren't veggie sausages or anything. I was particularly impressed with the service. The staff were friendly and unusually well trained as every detail had been catered for. For example, when I went into the bar each evening before dinner, I just had to give my room number to the person behind the bar, who would pass my room number to the restaurant staff so I didn't have to tell it to anyone else all evening. Not a big deal, but little details like this make a big difference!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a special break.
Advantages: Everything Disadvantages: If any, there can be a bit of traffic getting there
...can honestly say that the Dart Marina hotel is the best I have experience so far. On arrival I was greeted by a friendly and well manor member of staff who, in seconds, had me checked in and on my way to my room. When I reached the room I was blown away. The titanic French windows open up onto my own personal balcony, which ultimately looked over harbour. The modern styling and cleanliness was perfect for any occupant looking for a good weekend. ... ...was exceptional. I think Gordon Ramsey will have a challenge to compete. As I tucked into my breast of duck and plum source, I was being pampered by the first class service provided by the staff. Both myself and my girlfriend enjoyed a relaxing reflexology treatment which was out of this world. So really, the service was outstanding, the facilities where breath taking, the food was 10 star, the spa was one in a million and the local was excellent. ...

...I would try out the Dart Marina hotel, which I had heard some good things about. I can safely say that I will not be staying in a different hotel again. It was perfect in everyway. The room was colourful, spacious and gleaming with top of the art technology (not that I knew how to work everything). From what I have been told, there are several different styles to each room which I will be keen to witness. I was even able to treat my daughter to a ... ...unfortunately was not for me but my daughter said it was one of the best experiences of her life. We then sat down to a sensational meal overlooking the harbour. The service was well over 5 star, with presentable uniforms and highly regarded mannerisms. Overall it was a excellent facility and I would highly recommend it to any visitor of Dartmouth. ...

Advantages: Good Rooms, Friendly Service, Brilliant Facilities, Quality Local Food, Short Walk to Dartmouth Disadvantages: None
I have staying the Dart Marina three times now and I feel I need to share my experience with you. Lets put it simply the start with, the hotel is brilliant. There is no other word to describe it. It is right on the seafront and within a pleasurable walking range to Dartmouth. It has outstanding views across the sea with regular yaughts coming into the marina. The team of staff are friendly, helpful and see to your every need. The chef, who I have ... ...and amazing dishes from local produce each time I have been there. The rooms are immaculate and stylish with TV, radio, en-suite and several complimentary items. The facilities, which include a spa, swimming pool and gym, are state of the art and enjoyable to use. All in all, I will be returning to this hotel again and again and I would suggest you do the same thing. ...
