David Morgan is a well known shop around wales but for vey different reasons to say howells!. David Morgan is very expensive and some people may be led to believe that with a high price tag comes quality but I can almost promise you that if you were to look into other big department shops in cardiff you would find most of David Morgan stock in these shops but for much less than they ask for in David Morgans.
If like many people you think David Morgans will give you a pleasurable shopping experience, with friendly staff, well sadly once again most of the staff are very rude and treat many customers badly!. I plead you with the christmas comming up even the people with money to burn, shop elsewhere you will be able to make your money go alot further! Iam sorry about the lack of information not given here I was just so angry afer shopping there , anyway here gos. David Morgans is a big department store the one in cardiff is.The one in penarth is small and you may not find everything you would in the cardiff store. The store sells fashion for every age group including mens and baby wear but the focus is on the older generation but saying that it is not the normal stereotypical granny clothing they have many ranges from Jaque Vear to Morgan the quality of the items is high but so is the price tag and I do recomend if you are soley looking for clothes men and women young or old try other places first!. The baby wear is very nice but not a huge selections no prams,or other baby stuff only clothes. There is a wedding department a bridesdress/maid and flower girl no male outfits tho, only a few shoes and handbags a limited choice of head wear the quality is once again good but does come with a high price tag and the staff are less than helpful!.
Also the store includes furniture-a good selection from old fashioned to contemporey design if your are looking for furniture David Morgans has to be on your list of places to go. Clocks, mirrors paintings,shoes bags but the stlye is more the older generation! and not a huge selection. Childrens toys but not a huge selection but toys r us is just around the corner. If you do walk past the shop window you will notice welsh items like teddys pins but basically thats all they have what you see in the window!. Curtains,cobblers,cards-a good selection.
Material the selection is poor and the prices are stupid they wanted £21 for 3mtrs of white cotton material, when down the road in the market they wanted £3. for the identical same material!.
David Morgans does have mostly everything you could think of but the majority of there stock is hugley over priced and old fashioned!. The store is very large and is difficult to find your way round the store and the lay out has not been thought out for example ladies bags are on the ground right hand floor when ladies shoes are 2nd left hand floor!!

Thats better, but now is a bit hard to read. If you seperate the paragraphs and check spellings it will be alot easier on the eyes. Hope you don't take this the wrong way, only trying to help :o)
