I have been a regular at DAWAT for about 3 years. Its got its own car park with security guard and is the most friendly balti house. its a bit more up market than the the "glass on the table" places but yo odntpay up market prices. Its not licensed but there is an off license next door but one. Food is excellent - for main courses you can expect to pay around £5 each I especially recommend the chicken shaslik. The extras, nan and rice etc are also not expensive but only the brave with huge appetites go for the family nan. Desserts are a bit of a disappointment and mainly consist of the standard kulfi ( no barfi) and a range of Chines ( yes Chines) ice creams.
For a cheap and cheerful night out thats excellent value go to DAWAT - but if its Friday or Saturday night then do book and arive on time.
