One of the best hotel's in Bahrain!!

Advantages: big rooms, lovely stuff, good food
Disadvantages: due to high demand its a little bit over priced

when I moved to Bahrain I was placed in this hotel for a week. It is little far out of the city centre (15 min by taxi) but the place is lovely. It has very big swimming pool, with many restaurants (like Thai food and they also have one of the only british pubs in the country). Rooms are big and always clean. The staff is always friendly and they speak good english. The aircondition works well and very quite so you can sleep well. There is the old and new tower, if you can I strongly recommend to be placed in the new tower, as it is new and modern. The walls are also thicker so you get less noice from others. Gulf hotel is one of the only hotels where mainly high class European/American people stay, therefore it is a very nice enviroment for everyone who likes to live in an exclusive and luxurious hotel.! Food is very good ...

Three *Days* in Hounslow

Advantages: very clean, modern, close to tube, quick check-in
Disadvantages: far away from Central London, staff, not perfect for vegetarians

Three *Days* in Hounslow As some of you know, I live in Germany and regulary go on holiday in London for some shopping and just getting back to my beloved England! :) This time, I once again went with a travel group by coach. This group always organizes everything and take a hotel according to where they can get the best deal. Usually, their hotel was "Custom House" in the Docklands, but this time we were put into the "Days Hotel" in Hounslow. As the price was included in my holiday, I can not tell you how much I paid for the room and can only give information provided on the website regarding the prices, but I will tell you all about the quality of the rooms. Arriving As we arrived, the coach drove behind the building and we took our luggage into the lobby. My first impression was a good one - everything looked clean ...

Powderfinger Dream days at the hotel existence

Advantages: Good adult rock, mature, something to get your teeth into
Disadvantages: Gets a bit tiring after a while

expressed above. It turns out that the band went to Los Angeles to record the new album and while it's still distinctive, it's got a more rounded feel. It's tight and tuneful and has lost a little of that Australian blandness while retaining the charm and appeal that Oz music often has. Opening track Head up in the clouds" is about mental illness but is a mid tempo tune and quite catchy, despite Fanning singing: "Every day feels the same / The bomb keeps ticking till the routine breaks." It's a good opening track with some nice guitar sounds on and typical Fanning vocals and I was a little worried that the album would tail off - and happily, it doesn't, though there are a couple of typical Powderfinger slower moments. Standout tracks include "Lost and running", an excellent song that got a lot of radio play and is evocative ...
