I visited Belfast this year, needed a hotel to stay in for five nights and came across the Days Hotel. It is a 3 Star-hotel, located in the heart of Belfast City, offers guests great value accommodation with the convenience of the city centre business, entertainment, shopping district and train station located on the doorstep of the hotel. They state that they are the largest hotel in Northern Ireland with 244 bedrooms, and offering guests FREE on-site car parking for residents. I booked through a third party website, but I could of got a better deal through the hotels own website - as they have a special offers page. Prices can range around £59.75-£79.95 P/R P/N. I was attracted to this hotel because it had a good website, that gave clear details on facilities that it offered. I stayed in a double room, which was spacious and clean, with heating, TV with many channels, nice big shower room with a good quality shower (no bath in my room). The room did not have a safe for valuables, and I had a small problem with the door not shutting properly on the room, I reported this 4 different times, as it was left insecure by the house keeper on 4 different occasions during my stay of 5 nights. Nothing was done about this - I only had a free drink at the bar. Had an Irish cooked breakfast in the morning, but all types including cereals, toast, fruit and yoghurt was available during the time I stayed, I would rate the food (breakfast) I ate highly as I do like my food and I am fussy, there was plenty to fill you for the morning and keep you going until lunchtime. During lunch and evening I ate out in the city, but the hotel had a very good bar and restaurant and the prices looked very good for a three course meal, around £9 - £10 as far as I can remember. I would stay in this hotel again, but would look for a better price on the hotels own website.
