Advantages: Loads to do and see, all "packed close together" for east access, good transport service Disadvantages: Shopping (actually its OK but just not great, not when theres Leeds next door), reputation, football lol
.... A scene from the film Rita, Sue and Bob too was shot here (the one where they go on the trip) and it looks pretty interesting on there and I have been told its pretty good so I'd say - GO FOR IT! Not sure on prices or anything but when (IF!!!) I go I'll add it onto here.

Ah, more on Hawarth. This really is a lovely part of Bradford and well worth a visit. Here, there is, of course, the Bronte Parsonage Museum as mentioned before, plus a load of "oddity" shops and those lovely old sweet shops you used to see in the good old days. At the bottom of the hill (yes, Hawarth is on a hill) is a lovely pub (drink? me? Don't be silly!) called the New Inn I think but I'm sure someone will correct me on that. Anyway its on your right at the bottom of the hill. The park on your left is nice too.
