Advantages: Pleasent stay, good food, central location Disadvantages: Views from room
The strand palace hotel is as the name suggests in the Strand and is owned by Granada/Forte. It has been established at the same spot since 1907. Needless to say it has come up with the times, and is a highly popular hotel for a variety of reasons.
In my view there are a few essentials when you stay in a hotel including: cleanliness, there is nothing worse than paying to go somewhere and loathing touching anything because it?s not clean. After all you are paying a quite substantial fee sometimes, so cleanliness is utmost important. Second on my criteria is the ability to make tea in your room. Imagine waking up and being desperate (for a cuppa that is) only to find you have to wait until Breakfast for your first cup of the day? So that?s a close second. Next come sin staff politeness. Advantages: Excellent central location; good bars and restaurants Disadvantages: Rooms a bit old fashioned; a little pricey
stacked high with a traditional beef or lamb or turkey (or all three!) roast, carved by a very friendly and funny chef who served us.

We also went on the London eye, but got to this using the tour bus, but I believe it is around 15 minutes walk from the hotel.
All in all a good central location for siteseeing and theatre breaks, hence giving it a recommendation, but a little disappointed in the room (especially after paying for a "club" upgrade). If you've stayed in a typical Londonhotel before then the style ...
Advantages: Good location in London Disadvantages: Expensive to say the least.
Express By Holiday inn earls court, London
I made a visit to Holiday inn, in earls court during the middle of July and found this a nice place to stay.
The Hotel had a small sign displayed at the front of the Hotel window advertising rooms from ninety nine Pounds per room per night. Regarding the Hotel's location the nearest tube station is West brompton station which takes around ten minutes to walk from the station to the Hotel, or Fulham broadway is around fifteen minutes away.
The Hotel's immediate location is also close to South Kensington. Therefore Hotel visitors are treated to a great array of shopping malls in Fulham and high streets that surround the area. Directly opposite the Express by Holiday inn is a Thai Restaurant and a Beds Furniture Store. On the corner of the main road is a Polish Coffee shop and many ...
