Two Days at the Days Inn

My friend and I stayed at the Days Inn in Niagara for two nights in May at the start of our tour round Eastern Canada. We?d booked this as part of our Globespan holiday so I don?t know how efficient the booking process was. The hotel was three star and we certainly didn?t pay over the odds for our stay, although I don?t know exactly how much we paid. Arrival We arrived at the Days Inn at around 3am Canada time, or 8am according to our body clocks! We breathed a sigh of relief as our bus finally pulled up outside the hotel (our flight had been delayed quite a bit so neither of us was in the best of form by this stage!). I?d heard great things about the friendliness of the Canadian race from friends who had been to Canada before so was expecting a nice warm welcome from the hotel staff ? you?d expect those in the hospitality ...

California dreamin' at Days Inn

Advantages: Well located; reasonably priced rooms; large beds
Disadvantages: Not much in the way of hotel facilities

particular Days Inn being very well situated. Travel about 2 miles south on this road and you hit the beach, travel inland and it leads you through Beverley Hills and on to Hollywood. If like me, you make a hash of map-reading, this road is a navigator's dream. ~ On arrival ~ This is a low-level building in keeping with the locality, and only has a total of 68 bedrooms spread out on three floors. What clinched it for me with this hotel was it's pinkness. The outside décor is probably more suited to Miami's Art Deco area, and some might say it looks gaudy but I thought the pink paint suited the area perfectly. You can enter the motel either via the pedestrian entrance or via the car park, and once inside, we found the lobby to be very clean, with a nice marble floor. Review of Days Inn Santa Monica Blvd, Santa Monica

Days Inn or Hotel depending where you look!

Advantages: Location, cost, staff!
Disadvantages: No air con :o(

After being invited to a party in Yorkshire, we had the joy of finding a hotel that was close to where the party was being held. After a 20minute search on expedia we came across the Days Inn (Called the Days Inn on here and on Expedia but its actually called the Days Hotel). --Location-- The hotel is a 2 minute drive from junction 40 the M1 motorway. Once you come off the motorway, follow the A638 towards Wakefield and turn left at the first lights. The hotel is on the right. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from Leeds city centre and 2 miles from the centre of Wakefield. There is a morrisons supermarket around 5 mins drive from the hotel, although be careful there are at least 3 speed cameras on the way! --Price-- Costs of rooms vary on which room you want and which nights you stay. Standard Room (Mon-Thu) starts at £59 ...
