Not too Chile for me

Advantages: Excellent hotel, convenient location and fabulous food
Disadvantages: probably price but it was part of a package so not sure

Sheraton hotel and San Cristobel Tower Covention Centre - Santiago The hotel is a modern hotel just in front or behind San Cristobel Hill. It overlooks the river and we were lucky enough to have a room at the front of the hotel with views across the city with the snow capped Andes in the distance. The lobby was open and spacious with a large seated bar area in the middle. There were a number of seated areas for waiting or meeting friends with comfortable chairs and settees. The concierge desk would order taxis and organise private tours whilst the main desk offered check in and out as well as a money exchange at quite a reasonable rate. Review of Sheraton Santiago Hotel and Convention Center, Santiago

Sheraton Doha is an amazing old style 5* hotel

Advantages: 5* service, excellent food, clean big rooms with seating areas
Disadvantages: None

The service at this hotel was amazing. As soon as we got there, people took care of our luggage without even asking us. The food was amazing, they had everything on offer set up as a buffet, but with the most amazing food selection: you could choose anything for breakfast from eggs and cerial to sushi and salads, lunch was a selection of local specialities and western dishes and dinner was like you're dining at a really posh expensive restaurant. The selection of wines was also excellent, considering it's in Doha, which is quite a traditional place. The hotel has it's own beach with lounging chairs. I didn't get to see the gym (I was on holiday lol) but a friend said he was really surprised with the facilities. Apparently they had every concievable machine. Review of Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, Doha

Ramada Hotel and Conference Center,

Advantages: large selection of conference rooms for businesses
Disadvantages: no entertainment for those not in a conference,

I stayed at the Ramada Hotel and Conference Center, Edmonton, for 18 days in October. The stay was not a comfortable one. The check in counter was lined up upon arrival, and always appears to be lined up. The Elevators are ODD. You never know what will happen when you get in one when it finally shows up at your floor. The beds are hard. I was put on a waiting list for a fridge and in the 18 days never received a fridge. The wireless internet was unstable, sometimes allowing me to hook up, sometimes shutting down in the middle of an email. It advertised as wireless but I had to use the cable the majority of the time. There is only two washers and two dryers (that take up to two hours to dry one load), which seems inadequate for the number of rooms in the hotel.
