Delhi...what can i say about delhi. Last year i had to go on a family holiday to india but i had to fly there on my own as my mum had flown there a few weeks prior to my going. I had a 10-hour flight to Delhi and then had to wait in the lounge for an astonishing 13 hours before catching another lfight to mumbai. The city is very noisy, crowded with the shanti towns and there is a lot of polluion because of the lack of basic hygience. On the contrary, the lounge i spent 13 hours in was 1 of the best examples of amazing customer service that i can think of. The waiters were extremely helpful and i felt very comfortable. The city is very vibrant and is a nice family atmsophere but they have really bad traffic problems.

Advantages: Scenary, Lakes, Modern and Ancient architecture, Nightlife, Entertainment, Shopping and great food. Disadvantages: Poor local authorities and everything run by Public sector.
Advantages: It's a real gathering point and well worth a visit Disadvantages: You'll get more out of your visit if you've done a bit of reading beforehand
