For those seeking clean, centrally located accommodation in Amsterdam look no further than The DeltaHotel. Situated only a few minutes walk from the central train station it is easy to find, as the Damrak is the main road directly in front of you as you exit Central Station. In addition it is close to Madame Tussauds, the red light district, local nightlife, the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Dam Square, and many shops.

My first experience of this hotel was back at the end of January 2006. We we're thinking about booking this hotel for one of our stays on our honeymoon in August. I emailed the hotel for some general infomation about the hotel itself, the location for transport from the airport and tourist infomation. As there we're numerous email addresses on the website I sent the same email to two addresses, one to the front office manager and one to the general front desk email. Later the same day because of the time differnce I recieved two email's back from the Delta Chelsea with more infomation than I'd asked for. This seemed like a very good start to us that they bothered to reply to our inquiry even though we had said that at that point we hadn't even booked anything.
