Just Returned From my holiday at the pineta park duluxe hotel. There was 8 of us in total. It was supposed to be a 4 star plus but this rating is not true! it is a 2 star.
When you 1st arrive the hotel looks lovely, the outside and reception looks great. We didnt arrive untill 11.00pm at night and after checking in went to get a drink, we had to queue for ages to get a drink!
The rooms need updating! 4 of us had suites, the other 4 had normal rooms. Room 1: > the air conditioing did not work, it was boiling all the time! asked day 1 to be fixed, asked again day 3 no one came! > the bathroom door was broken and my friend was stuck in there for 40 minutes! the room was tiny and she was close to fainting, she was only 14 years old. we asked repeating at reception for mantience to help her and no one came, so we had to go and get a cleaner. >the bedding is clean but has holes in it > the floor has bleach marks in it > Light switch fell out of wall, when i switched on light >curtains fell of the wall!!! Room 2: > Air con did not work! Room 3: > Bathroom door did not shut at all Room 4: >Air con did not work >No cleaning for the whole week! - so no toilet rolls! had to take these from other bathrooms and store rooms
Resaurant: It does say there is an ala carte resataurant this is a joke! its a bar, next door! the buffet food is the same all the time! - salad, bread, dodgy meats! - i am vegetarian and all i could eat was salad and bread evey morning, lunch and dinner! all our party got stomach upsets, and i was violently sick on the way back to england, i still have stomach pains now. - the illness from the food, sparked a seizure on the flight home Someone in our party also passed out , after being so dyhyrated from illness Food is not designed for english people - nor are their food hygiene conditions very good.
Pools: Freezing! thats ok to cool you down! but when you get in, its horrible! there was no free beds atall, by 7:30am all the beds were taken up. and most people didnt even use the beds they had put down! childs pool had black worms in it
Bars: Grumpy stuff, unfriendly, moody, you dont get the drinks you ask for. there are 30 wasps around the bar/pool area. 3 of us were stung. you had to pay for many of the drinks and drinks were VERY watered down!
Staff: as i said most grumpy, only one helpful bar staff, and one nice waiter. we had a good cleaner :) The staff new the age of those in out party 15 years old and 14 years old, yet they on numnerous occasions made passes at them. at one stage the 14 year old was lead into a toilet with an older staff member! the male staff only have one thing on there mind!
>toilets are always running out of loo roll! >you always have to wait 10 minutes for lifts! >numerous wonky floor tiles, which we all fell over! > wallpaper falling off walls and odd bits stuck up! > messed up dress code in the buffet!
>Beach distance is misleading, it makes it look like it is about 3 minutes walk away, its a good 15 minutes walk away > hotel is very over looked
Advice: DO not go here! >shopping is excellent! but haggle!
I would go to turkey again but not to this hotel ever! so very disappointed
