Advantages: Absolutely delicious chocolate, very likely tobe enjoyed, not too expensive Disadvantages: Can be messy, not as suitable for very posh occassions
Description
Ducd'o truffles are a really tasty sausage shaped chocolate truffles in lovely flaky chocolate coating. I find these chocolate big enough to take at least 2 bites, the large amount of soft, light truffle centre sits well inside the solid chocolate shell. There is also a dark chocolate variety of the ducd'o, which is my favourite chocolate ever. The dark chocolate coating is not at all bitter and the milk chocolate inside means it is not too rich. Availability
You can by this 250g box of milk chocolate truffles from many supermarkets, garden centres, garages and in duty free shops. Price varies between shops, but is comparable with other mid range boxes of chocolates. The milk chocolate ducd ...
Advantages: Original building, nice and clean and decent rooms Disadvantages: Could have quirkier rooms to match the rest of the hotel.
Well I have nearly reviewed all the hotels I saw recently on my Paris trip although I still have some other things to review too from the trip! This hotel is one of the ones I had not really heard much about so didn't really have any prior opinions of it or know what to expect before arriving.

The hotel is located in the Montmartre area of Paris at 5 Rue Tholozé in the 18th Arondissemont. It is very near to the famous Moulin Rouge theatre and the Sacre Coeur and is surrounded by lots of little cafes and small restaurants. Being in the 'artist' district the area is lively and full of character. The street the hotel is ...
Advantages: Very close to restaurants and bars in Montparnasse area and very quiet situation so you get a good nights sleep Disadvantages: None
We arrived at Gare du Nord, Paris during the afternoon of March 26th 2006 and took the No. 4 metro line towards the Vavin stop. This hotel is part of the Best Western Group and is about a five minute walk from the metro and is situated in a side street. We asked for a non smoking room and got a non smoking room. Our twin room was on the fifth floor, accessed by a small lift. It wasn't very big but as we were only staying for a couple of nights it didn't matter too much. There was a small table next to my bed and there wasn't much room between it and the bathroom door which opened out into the room. We had a television and a mini bar although we didn't use it because the drinks were too expensive. The bathroom was clean and modern, but the shower head took a little time to get used to. We had lovely fluffy white towels ...
