A good night to all.

Advantages: In city centre, large comfortable rooms good breakfast
Disadvantages: poor parking, small towels!

I stayed for one night with my wife when attending a friend's wedding which was held here. we had a special wedding price of £85 inc. breakfast which was very reasonable when you consider the normal price is £160!. We booked over the phone and the staff were very helpful, confirmation arrived in the post a couple of days later including directions and facilities, this is when we learnt of the parking. Check in is after 2 pm and we arrived at 3 the staff were very friendly and although it was very busy they were very attentive to detail. Southgate Hotel Exeter, home from home

Advantages: Within short walking distance of centre, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere
Disadvantages: Bar pricey and lounge area needs refurbished

I have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for an extended period last year. Whilst the hotel is due for major refurbishment, the only area this showed was the lounge bar area (flooring). The lounge is comfortable, fabulous large comfy settees, the staff are amazing and cant do enough for you. The hotel seems to cater mostly for business people during the week , weekends, older couples and wedding parties. Advantages: inexpensive and convenient
Disadvantages: the bed!

My parents live in Dawlish and, I don't know whether they were trying to tell us something, but the moment my sisters and I had all left home, they promptly sold the family home and moved into a one bedroom flat! A Bad Nights Sleep at Plymouth Travelodge

Advantages: Good location
Disadvantages: Lumpy Beds, Noisy
