...so the rate at the Copthorne isn't that bad. It is located at the top end of the town. This means it is great to explore Plymouth - the shopping is on your doorstep, and Plymouth Hoe and Barbican are about a 10 minute walk away. It is also away from the bars/pubs that are at the lower end of town, so noise disturbance is surprisingly low for a town center hotel. A stunning hotel perfect for weddings

Advantages: Beautiful building and grounds
Disadvantages: Disabled access is poor

Boringdon Hall is an amazing old 16th century manor house with links to Henry the VIII. In March 1989 part of the house was burnt down in a tragic fire and a lot of money was put into it to restore it back to its former glory. Advantages: Top quality hotel offering stunning views.
Disadvantages: Doesn't look very nice from the outside.

Advantages: inexpensive and convenient
Disadvantages: the bed!
