A Bad Nights Sleep at Plymouth Travelodge

Advantages: Good location
Disadvantages: Lumpy Beds, Noisy

Friendly Service - a real gem of a hotel

Advantages: Really convenient location, Good value from all aspects, excells in quality, service and food

Review of Best Western Tiverton Hotel, Tiverton

Wrong personality for hospitality coupled with dingy family suite

Advantages: The precooked breakfast was ok, Kingsbridge Inn - excellent pub/restaurant
Disadvantages: Unfriendly man in the BnB, Tourist office shut on Sunday in long weekend

We chose the Old Forge in Totnes because it looked like a quaint old building that had been developed into a comfortable BnB. The man who greeted us when we arrived was civil but was not a friendly character (which you would expect in a quaint BnB). As 3 single adults we booked the family suite with 3 separate beds. Promised a lot, but let down - we were so disappointed

Advantages: Lovely location and building
Disadvantages: Service and Food

We stayed 3 nights on half board - the location is lovely and the hotel seemed very nice on arrival. Our first disappointment came with the evening meal - the food is mass produced and left a lot to be desired - the beef from the carvery was a bit tough and the vegtables were just so over cooked (probably due to standing on the hotplate for so long). The smorgasboard on the saturday night was th best foor of our stay. On returning to our room on ...
