Want to feel like you're walking into a b film set? If horror, vampires and Goths are your thing you've got to try London's real Goth hang out The Devonshire Arms. It's conveintly located in Camden on Crawley road. Here the clientele are all living in a 1980's Bauhaus video and are waiting for a sequel to "Interview with a Vampire". This is where the real Goths Hang out in London. Who knew they needed a pub to chat over their vampire lifestyles in. Who knew they still took themselves seriously after all these years? Siouxsie Sioux look a likes are popular here as well as Robert Smiths and Dave Vanians. Of course being in Camden the whole thing has a run down pirced twist, but the drinks are cheap and its a great place to bring out of towners. Those old London postcard punks come to life, and just a little worse for wear.

I should hope that this op is SERIOUSLY tongue-in-cheek. We're not all "waiting for the sequel to Interview With The Vampire" and I'd take quite bad offence if someone compared me to this! If this IS a serious op, I'd say it's quite bigoted towards the alternative community. I also agree with Ariel's comment on NOT taking in townies to gawp. We're not zoo animals and I for one would not appreciated being treated as such!

Need a bit more detail for a VH rating, but sounds like a great place! Will check it out, Morgan XxXxX

as a semi-regular at the Dev, and one who looks nothing like any of your reference pooints, I can only hope this was a tounge-in-cheek opinion. And *please* don't bring townie tourists along just for the curiosity value.
